R.I.P Charles

You never know when life is going to throw you a curve ball. They say, "God has a plan for everything, and everything happens for a reason." Sometimes that is hard to believe or even try and wrap your mind around and try to understand.  You were here for a reason and your life had meaning. We may not know what that reason was but your life had purpose.
You mattered and you were loved.
Left  behind are  a lot of unanswered questions that will never be answered; heartache  for your mother, father, brother and sister, your daughter and lots of other people who loved and cared for you. And for what? Because some ass-hole made a stupid decision, picked up a gun and pulled the trigger.

I've known Charles since he was a little boy. He grew up as one of my son's best friends. There were 3 of them. Tyler, Charles, and Johnathon. We called them "The Three Musketeers" .
He was always into some kind of trouble. That was Charles. But he had a good heart and a smile that could light up a room.
His brother James Lee was in a bad car accident 5 months ago with severe brain injuries. He's been by his Mom and Dad's side the whole way through. As well as been there for his brother.

He has a 2 year old little girl that he was crazy in love with.
Last night someone shot him in the back of the  head. We still don't know why. We may never know why. But there are a lot of people who will feel the loss and be left with an empty space in their heart for the rest of their lives.  His family, and friends are left bewildered and the life and zest of a 25 year old man, and father are snuffed out.  Just like that; he's gone.
Rest in peace Charles. Fly with the angels now. You're free. But never forgotten. I know you will be watching over your brother, James Lee  and encouraging him on every step of the way.
XOXO

Penny & James Sr. I cannot even imagine the pain and loss you are suffering right now. I can only pray that God wraps his arms around you and you can seek comfort in them. God bless you, Charles and your family. Kelly
