A Bit of Heaven

3 years ago I never dreamed a bit of heaven was to fall into my lap. Of course when my daughter told me she was pregnant  my initial reaction was disappointment. Still in high school, unwed teenage mother. I knew the road she was taking was going to be a long and hard one. And it is.  I of  course  had my concerns, and still do but not only for my daughter now, for this little bit of heaven that has become such an important and vital part of my life: my Princess...My Alayna.  

How do I even try and find the words to describe what this child means to me other than she is as close to heaven as I've ever come. She is smart, witty, huggable, loveable and I am crazy in love with her.
