tuesday was....

......the rain starting tapping on the roof late last night....and has not stopped since.....

it comes in periods of heavy downpours and all i wanted to do today when i got up from bed was have a movie day on the couch.  maybe get some laundry done, cook a nice dinner for once....get my computer cleaned off and get a few things done that i've been neglecting the last couple of weeks or so....

but....no such luck...

i had to take my mom to the doctor's for a 1:00pm appointment because her foot is badly swollen...

so i pick her up and off we go

in and out of the car

wind whipping, umbrella flying, and rain coming down in sheets

...yeah....

4 hours later...and another doctor i am finally heading over to the drugstore to pick up a prescription for caitlin

and walking in the door at 5pm...

thankfully I had Caitlin put in a roasted chicken with potatoes and carrots so we did have a nice warm dinner....

so anyway they are not quite sure what is wrong with my moms foot

tomm at 6:45am she has to be back over there to have an MRI

to find out exactly what is going on

the doctor said she may have an infection which  may require surgery so im hoping that that won't be the case...

my mom is 89 years old and putting her under has me a tad worried

not to mention the recuperation time

so we'll have to wait and see....

so all in all tuesday has been

raining beating against the windows all day

getting wet and drying off only to get wet again

oh winter here she comes....

blowing in with an attitude...damn her....
im not ready for winter
but here she comes
dragging me along
kicking and screaming...
