Battling Grief one day at a time
Summer days:
filled with childs laughter & bare feet
garden flowers and summer's heat

I'm trying to be okay and grief comes in waves, sometimes
a gentle tap on the shoulder and other times a gushing
waterfall
it creeps up when you least expect it
and leaves you gulping for air
steadying your feet and praying it passes quickly.
Grief is by far the worse thing I've been forced to endure during this earthly life.
it leaves you with an dull aching need that can never be filled.
