Winter Days....

Ah.....

Winter.....

Something so calming and comforting about Winter.

Its a time to slow down

cuddle on the couch with a good book

catch up on movies you missed during

the Summer months because there was just

never enough time.

It's a time to unpack your heaviest sweaters and curl up

inside them

Its a time for quiet walks in the woods

where the only sound you can hear is the

wind as it rips across your cheeks leaving them blushed.

It's short days and even longer nights.

Its frozen ponds and

everything dead

It's bare tree limbs

aching for a blanket of snow to drape them in.

And it's lonely arms

waiting to envelope someone

warm, someone special,

someone who 

knows you and cares for you

despite all your flaws.

It's a time for looking inward

and changing what you don't like.
