I remember the first day I walked into this house 15 years ago. It screamed "Home" immediately. I love older homes with character and this one had it. It felt peaceful, with its craved arches, and worn hardwood floors, the built in hutch in the kitchen... and the light...oh my goodness..the light streamed in from every angle. My youngest daughter, Caitlin was 4 months old when we moved into this place we now call, home. She is now 15 and this has been the only home she has ever known.
She took her first steps on these hardwood floors, spoke her first words in our living room. This house has good vibes...a happy feeling. The plaster walls have sheltered us from many storms. We brought Alayna home from the hospital to this house...where she lived for her first 6 months...All of our family holidays have been celebrated in this house, along with many tears of joy and sadness.

These photos of your home in Black and White are visually stunning! I especially love the photo of the vintage lamp, with the photos secret hidden in the reflection of the poster that says, "LOVE" ;) Your description of "Home" is also Beautiful. It's so nice to have a place you can feel that good about, to feel that safe and secure in. Love this!
