Monday is...... with

Monday is...

waking up to the smell of rain and snow melting away....

bare trees and grey cloudless skies

dreaming in soft pinks and ivory whites today

and longing for spring

longing to shoot Polaroids in hazy pink skies and twirling in the street with my Princes

in bouts of laughter and pure happiness....

"Griffin House" on the headphones on repeat today

im wanting to strip down to the essentials and redecorate everything in light and hazy whites

im longing to wear pretty dresses and high heels and light pale pink lipstick

im ready to pack away all winter things for another year

and move out of the darkness and cozy into open and airy....

laundry sits on the table downstairs waiting to be washed, but i've no interest in washing today...

dishes piled in the sink from last nights chicken dinner are still hinting at me every time i walk pass them....

im feeling i need to nurture my soul today with warm hazelnut coffee, a good movie, opening the windows a crack to smell the rain...and drift away into a dream.....
