jumbled words today

lingering shadows and chasing the light

sitting in this hard chair makes my bones ache...

the silence is welcomed this early afternoon

im tired of living in a broken world. the decay and corruption is evidence everytime you turn on the news...

cancer, sickness, abuse, relationship break downs are present everywhere you look.

we are all just desperate souls searching for something to anchor our souls too that won't change....something that remains good and never leaves...

someone that we know will love us unconditionally....are there still people out there like that?

they are getting harder and harder to find...true loves, true friendships...

they often fleet before we are ready to let go...

so we walk around untangled, trying our best to put on a front that we've got it all together, when we really don't...

happy moments are thrown in between the beginning and the ends...

it's november 5 and it's 70 degrees today. i'd like to get outside and enjoy what could be one of the last nice days we have until winter sweeps in...

but im weighed down with to-do-lists, and the heaviness today doesn't want to lift...
