sunday is...sleeping in late

getting up to sunshine streaming in through the windows and luna snoozing by my side

its cleaning storm windows (which is usually done by now but the weather here has been unseasonably warm this year)

but now we have clean windows to watch the snow spill gently to the ground (if we even get any snow this year) im sure we will probably about the time it should be Spring thats when we will get the snow.

its moping the kitchen floor  and having Luna skate thru without it being dry yet.

i watch my mama decline a little more every day. its gut wrenching and breaks my heart. tonight  we are going out to dinner, im trying to spend as much time with her as i possibly can. poor little thing can't do much of anything anymore without struggling for a breathe of air.

so tonight we will share a meal together, drink some red wine and i will bring my camera along so that i will forever have the memory locked deep inside.

the time spent with our loved ones is such a beautiful gift to treasure. we never know when it may be our last.

so tonight i'll be grateful for our time together and come home honor-bound by the gift of my mother.
