here's to 2018!

this photo was taken a just shy of a year ago. surprising how much can change in 12 months. oh how i pray 2018 will turn out to be a better year than last. i need calm, quiet in the worse way this year. 2017 started off promising, but fell short in so many ways. 

my poor girl caitlin continues to feel terrible. i was hoping once she got pass the 12 week mark of the pregnancy she would start to feel a little better...we have a doctor appt friday, so we shall see. must be a little girl cause she's already giving her mama fits, lol.

once again we are plagued with an arctic temperature this morning that will unfortunately continue to hang around for the rest of the week.  you know it's cold when even the cat won't go outside to escape the chaos. im extremely irritated today. im thankful i have an excuse to get out of the house, Jen is doing my hair today and then we will attend Tuesday night church service, maybe that will help to lift my mood, because it definitely is not in a good place right now...
