August ..first day

saturday rushed in as the first day of august...

hot and humid

sticky and sweaty

2 showers

a day snapping photos of my gorgeous sister in law

lunch at one of my fav places, the olive garden

a drive out to LeClaire, ia 

taste testing all kinds of oils and vinegar's

and  smelling bars of jasmine lime  soap...i have a passion for scented soaps...

so thank you Nanc for the awesome bar ...i used it tonight in the shower and didn't want to get out...

it was an hour at the bookstore and coming home with a copy of...this....

 and swooning over the photos

and that is so very true. photographers do see life different. we not only observe everything in our view, we inhale it, and we chase the light and shadows....

on another topic, i haven't been feeling great as of late...tired and nauseated alot ...this menopause is kicking my ass big time...at least im assuming its menopause....it has lasted too long to be a virus so im going with menopause and im not crazy even thou most of the time, well actually, alot of the time anymore, i feel as if im losing my mind...

and i am indeed crazy....forgetful, and my mind just wanders off...

i really have to focus on what im doing lately

the air conditioning is on..and has been for the last few days

the fair starts tuesday...shooting thursday, saturday photography group picnic....sunday a day of playing 'catch-up'

and hopefully squeeze in a nap and a good book....

we shall see......
