thursday is....

waking up early and not near enough sleep, still dealing with this insomnia issue...

lexi stayed over last night so i woke up to her sleeping on the couch...i have the most comfortable couch...guaranteed if you lay down on it, you will fall asleep. and it's big, like a twin size bed so 2 people can comfortably lay on it...

its great for movie night!

im terribly missing my girl alayna. last night she face-timed me and begged me to come get her....now mind you, she is in Maine and im in Iowa....its only a 2 day drive, try to explain that to a 7 year old is not that easy when they are crying their heart out and want to come home....broke my heart too pieces....i have talked to her today and she did survive the night and is doing much better today...thank goodness...

spent a couple hours at the bookstore today and left a couple of "If you find this letter, its for you" love letters laying on a couple book shelves. I hope whoever finds them, it will brighten up their day if only to plastered a smile across their face for a short time....

its absolutely gorgeous here today...73 degrees, low humidity and yup, you got it, windows OPEN....YAY....

my anti-depressant meds are finally kicking in and for the last few days i've been riding on cloud nine! an awesome feeling when you've been down in the black hole for any length of time..

so, yes, im loving life and soaking up the last days of summer

before autumn comes blowing in....
